Frustrations
Argh - I dearly adore any fic with William Beckett, but his first name is so hard for me to pronounce well! You'd think I'd be better after 4+ years of speech in elementary school, but, no :(
Also - I just got a new headset mic, but it has the same hiss problem as my laptop's built-in mic (though without the problem of the sound of my laptop fan). So, either my recordings have irritating background hiss or my voice gets changed by audio clean-up programs. I see yet more experimenting with equipment and programs in my future...
Third - this is totally not a hobby well-suited to me, given how horribly lazy my mouth generally is about talking - poor diction and slurring of words in my haste. But, hey, maybe I'll get better as I get more practice.
