Today a guy came up to my register to return a book about Michigan divorce law. So I asked the usual: "Was there anything wrong with it, or do you just not want it?"
He said, "No. My wife had a baby, so now I can't use that book."
The book was a little bent out of shape and scuffed up; not exactly what the store would call "resaleable." I let him return it anyway.
