[blog] going to Canada
I’ve decided that I can’t just sit around here and mope anymore. It’s Thanksgiving weekend in Canada and I’m flying to Montreal tonight to find Matthew. I’ll be back Monday morning in time for my dinner/afternoon with Lizzie and Roderich so no worries there Liz, you can’t get rid of me that easy!
Besides that it should be an adventure of epic proportions. My plane connects in Vancouver and then it’s three hours to Montreal and then a cousin of mine is picking me up and we’re off to Cowansville which is, hopefully, where Mattie is. If not, I still get to see my mom and Grandma so that’ll be awesome.
And tuuuuuurkey dinner <3 Grandma always makes beercan turkey, maybe I can convince her to gimmie the recipe! And strawberry rhubarb pie and buttermilk pancakes from the cows uncle keeps there! And blueberry pie! Mom's garden should be ready to be picked which means roast carrots and potatoes and turnip puff... Awww man, I'm already hungry and I'm gonna have to live on airport food... Oh well, mom'll make me grilled cheese once I'm there!
If I can’t find Mattie there, I’m so telling mom he ran off without telling me; this totally deserves tattling. Also might try going to church with her on Sunday but… no guarantees. And I’ll pick up some maple syrup for all of you and maybe some gifts~ I'll be taking Rosie back to the Myrtle House once I'm back Ludwig, thanks for watching her all this time!
