The day started out normal, turned weird around lunch and just got downright creepy. As usual, he was outside Mr. Edelstein's house around 7, just in time to meet Elizaveta outside (he wasn't allowed a key) as have a little chat to her as they both went about getting breakfast ready -Alfred given the taste of putting on tea and coffee since Roderich never really told them the day before. Once both were on, he went upstairs, rousing the Austrian.
After breakfast, the day was spent in the backyard, Roderich reading, Elizaveta making pie inside with some help from Alfred. They both kept an eye on him from the open kitchen window while Alfred kneaded the dough, his sleeves pushed back. Then he saw it. A small robin hanging on the arced lattice above Roderich, picking at the flowers there.
Surely... Alfred's eyes flicked to Mr. Edelstein's nice jacket then back to the bird. His gaze narrowed. That was a crafty bird. Alfred was out of the house in three second flat and had tackled the Austrian to the grass a second later. Suffice to say, Roderich was less than impressed about the grass stains on his nice jacket and instead let Alfred go early that day. At least he wasn't fired...
Getting home, or back to the Kirkland place, he ignored the odd telephone calls from the room beside his and flopped down on his bed, curling up and checking his mail. What... Ivan was sick? That wouldn't do at all! Changing out of the expensive suit, Alfred quickly pulled on jeans and a t-shirt, strapping his backpack on and starting to bike down.
Then he paused halfway to Ivan's. That was strange to say the least. The entire Dr. Who collection just in a cardboard box in the middle of the street? His bike came to a stop and he leaned over, picking through it. Wow... Everything from the First Doctor... Up to Tennant. Score! He slipped his backpack off, opening it, starting to load them in. When it was loaded up, he noticed there was a note on the bottom of the box.
SEE YOU SOON ALLIE~
What? He frowned and before he could think more, a cloth slammed over his lips and nose. Out of shock, he took in a sharp breath, smelling the sweetness of chloroform and before he could even put up a struggle, he blacked out.
He felt his body move. Throw to the ground of some room. His opened his eyes and found it to be pitch black. He froze, hands feeling the rough and wooden floor under him. What the fuck was going on? He slid to the nearest wall, starting to feel along it, shivering. He didn't have a shirt on... And pants? yeah, he thought those were still on. Good.
Fingers fumbling over the lightswitch, a bulb burst into life over his head and he winced at the light, shielding his eyes for a moment before blinking and getting used to the light. It was an attic, that much he could tell but it was completely silent. He couldn't hear anything else, nothing, no people below or outside. He swallowed, looking around the the boxes nervously. What the hell was going on? Shifting them around, he desperately tried to find an exit, feeling more and more trapped with each passing second.
There wasn't one. He couldn't find it. At least his backpack was there. He seized it, rummaging desperately. his phone? Thank god- the battery was gone, pulled out. And even his laptop appeared to be missing it's battery. Okay, this wasn't cool. Not cool at all. He swallowed, holding the phone tight in his hand. There was a code to use an extra store of battery... He typed it in and his phone's display flickered on for a moment.
His fingers started to dial a number. His voice trembled as he left a message on Ivan's machine (stupid bastard probably had the damn thing on silent, trying to sleep).
[message left on Ivan's machine]
You have one unheard message. Sent today at 20:21.
I-Ivan... H-Help me please- I-I don't know where I am-
The battery cut for a moment and the call died. Alfred swore almost chucking the stupid machine across the room but saw the dim glow of the display and used the last of the power to send a simple message out.

Barely able to get the message through since reception was practically nonexistent, Alfred sighed as the phone petered out and died in his hand. Carefully, he placed it back in his backpack, shivering and half-glowering at his empty backpack. Fucker wouldn't even leave him his DVDs. A TARDIS would be handy right now.
There was an old grey blanket he found in one of the boxes and he pulled it tight around his shoulders. He started to slam his fist against the floor, trying to make himself heard but even he could hear how muffled his shouts and punches were. Shit. When did this turn into a fucking Silent Hill game? Letting out a sigh, he slumped against the wall, staring at the opposite one.
And then he sat, Nothing but the sound of his own breathing to keep him company.
Alone.
