[action!] Happy birthday Emi and sorry for thinking you were a screamer
Still feeling like the biggest douche ever for asking Emi about her sex life, Alfred decided that some serious sucking-up had to be done if he wanted to get her to forgive him and start helping him with his Spanish homework again. So using the money (which was now actually THERE due to his well-paid job of looking good) he saved up and made a few calls around while carefully watching her journals and blogs trying to figure out exactly what she would need to have a decent birthday.
Passing by her apartment around noon and finding her not to be there, he merely left the basket next to her front door with an awkwardly tied red bow with two tiny ones beside it, the white one apparently made of a more cream-colour than white but he figured she'd forgive him. Inside the basket was four items with a fifth item placed next to it.
The first of which being a set of the series "Land Girls" since he figured BBC+feminism+girls being awesome would fit Emi's like of dramas while he also included the ONE girly anime he enjoyed "Romeo x Juliet" hoping that it would appeal to her drama-loving side. The third item was a lovely bottle of wine from his father's vineyard which Alfred swore was the best they had ever made and would go fantastic with any cinnamon flavoured treats Emi happened to cook. The final item was a small giftcard to Tatiana bath/spa/thing with a small scrawled note "since you've been so stressed" attached to the card.
Tucked beside the basket, as if hoping Emi wouldn't even see it was something Alfred didn't even think he should be putting there but did anyway after deliberating for about half-an-hour. It was a small rolled up pair of socks, an envelope attached to it with "To Juan" written on the front. Inside was scribbled note which merely read "your socks are still at my place, I figured you could use a new pair. Happy birthday Juan xo."
Feeling it would probably never live this down, Alfred quickly left, hurrying down the stairs and riding as fast as he could to Meimei's.
