So there's a big banner in the window of a storefront next to the school that says a Daiso is going to be coming soon *_* Daiso is a large chain of Japanese 100 yen stores that have branched out into other countries. In the US it's a dollar store, and in Korea it's a 1,000 won store. I'm super excited because the products they sell are a lot better than US dollar stores and I'll be able to get home goods like cups and plates a lot cheaper there!
Next week, I'll probably be going to the Nonsan Strawberry Festival with one of the receptionists from work and a few of her friends. This receptionist has always been very nice to me, and I'm very happy that she wants to be my friend (even though she hates speaking English). I'm going to have to work a lot harder to learn Korean so that we can be closer friends. When she invited me, she said one of the friends she's going with speaks English very well and is looking for foreigner friends, so she thought of me and wants to introduce me. I was very flattered.
I'm up to 33hrs next week because I have to sub a lot of classes for a teacher who is going home for vacation. I honestly don't mind since I'm enjoying my job. It sucks that I won't have Wednesday off, but I can always go to places in the morning if I want to do anything fun. I'll make up for it the following week and go somewhere totally new! Probably shopping since I have money in my bank account now and we're getting paid on the 10th!
