Emma the catdog turns two (we think) next week. I celebrated by using her as my "model" for my new lense in my woefully underlit basement - and in case anyone was wondering the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L is absolutely incredible. I have been proud of myself. Even with all the new and future puppies everywhere I look, I didn't really feel like I needed a puppy right now. Not even with the puppy cam (which, by the way, great streaming but that chat is CRAZY), and two of my favorite breeders having puppies. I didn't need one. Really. Until this happened at work today.

Packing is such a pain... not made much easier by the two cats that insist on sleeping in the boxes at night. I'll miss California but I can't believe how COLD it has been here in Ventura the past few days.
