introduction of research portion of term paper. did library scavenger hunt, which involved me completing several steps to make me more knowledgeable about the resources that Furman's library offers. went to many websites stemming from furman library's webpage, including The American National Biography, JSTOR, America: History and Life, and the Humanities section of the All Database link in the library's website. this was only an exercise, so didn't do research relevant to the topic of my paper (partially because i havent even picked a topic yet) but instead used George Washington as a pre-assigned topic choice.
