Who was the last person of the opposite sex you had a texting conversation with?
I have only ever texted someone in response to a text they sent me, and I think I've only ever texted Chuckles and Laura. Since Chuckles is the only one of those who's a guy . . .
What was the last beverage you consumed?
Water. Per usual. I have my giant glass right here beside me, and it's icy cold. Mmm.
Thoughts at this moment?
We might be picking peaches today. Wonder if we will?
Do you bite your lips a lot?
Nope.
What is more essential - a pretty face or a great body?
I'm inclined to say "a pretty face," simply as far as making me feel someone is physically attractive, all other (more important) things aside. But this may be partly because my idea of "a great body" is what a lot of people might consider "a so-so body." (In the words of Janet, "I don't like men with too many muscles.")
Medicine, fine arts, or law?
Fine arts all the way, baby! (This answer sponsored by my two artist parents, most of my hobbies, and my future career as an author and creative writing professor.)
Best kind of pizza?
Cheesy, cheesy pizza, ideally with cheese-stuffed crusts. I really like DiGiorno's.
Favorite drink?
Ice water - or regular water when it's cold out. Though I am a sucker for the occasional glass of strawberry soda. I actually like a lot of different drinks (sparkling cider, chocolate milk), but water gives me the most overall happy.
Do you miss anyone?
Yes.
What were you doing at 11:59 PM on Saturday night?
Sleeping. Ah, Farmville.
Who do you hate?
I try not to.
Who was the last person you had in your room?
I think Mom put some of my stuff up there yesterday. If you mean "while I was there," then Michelle, because I was giving her a tour of the house. She laughed at all my Legolas posters and stuff. Sometimes I forget they're there . . .
Is your room clean?
Not especially. And it's certainly not neat.
Can you speak another language?
I'm pretty good at Spanish. I spoke it with a patron at the library the other day.
What are you going to do tomorrow?
Work 8:30-1:30, probably go to the gym, hopefully write some.
What is in store for your future?
Should all go well: working in England with Becky and Graham this fall; getting my MFA in Creative Writing starting next fall; getting a novel published at some point (and hopefully being successful enough for the publisher to continue printing my books); and becoming a professor of Creative Writing. I don't object to stuff like marriage happening, should the right guy appear, but I'm certainly not planning it.
Who was the last band you saw live?
Gosh, I really don't know. Possibly something at the last RenFaire I attended . . .
Do you take care of your friends while they're sick?
When I can.
Do you like to read? What was the last book you read?
Yes! I'm currently in the middle of Janet Evanovich's Plum Lucky, having just finished rereading the Lemony Snicket series and the Narnia books.
When was the last time you purchased something over $500?
I don't think I ever have.
Favorite color?
Blue.
Who is your favorite person to have a serious conversation with?
My parents, my brother, and Becky. Sometimes Ashton, too; he knows when a serious conversation needs to not be serious.
What does your last incoming text message say?
No clue. Although I know one of Chuckles' used the word "yaoi." ;)
Nickname?
Nickelby, one-third of Nibeckashty.
Where do you want to go?
Loads of places. Pretty much every country in the world. And California.
What are you wearing?
Ravenclaw t-shirt. :P
What brand of digital camera do you own?
Um, I think it's Canon.
Does talking about sex make you uncomfortable?
If you mean joking or talking about yaoi, then the answer is "not with my W&M friends." If you mean actually seriously talking about sex, then the answer is "I almost never have, and it usually has been really uncomfortable."
When is your birthday?
September 3. And I want a pony. To give to Erika.
Where was the last place you slept over?
Okay, I definitely do not remember. I fell asleep in the car on the way to the airport recently, and it was technically someone else's car.
How do you feel right now?
Hopeful that I'll get things done today that I want to get done.
Do you like coffee?
No.
Who was the last person to call you?
Alice was the last person to call and actually reach me; apparently Geneva, who does scheduling at work, called yesterday, but Mom took a message.
Who did you last text?
Either Laura or Chuckles. Probably Laura.
Who last texted you?
Same as above.
What does your twelveth message on your inbox say?
I assume you mean my super-secret inbox with the seven passwords, handprint analysis, and retinal scan. Let's see . . . the subject line of the twelfth message is "Soon."
What are you craving?
When I hear the word "craving," I automatically think "chocolate." Does that answer the question?
What's the closest red thing to you?
Immedietely visible: the cover of a book called 250 Years of Japanese Art on the shelf of my parents' art library, next to the computer. When I hunt around, there is a red paper clip in the drawer right over my lap.
Biggest turn off in the opposite sex?
Insensitivity.
What are you listening to?
Birds outside.
What is the last pill you swallowed?
If chewing it up first still counts, then a calcium supplement. Otherwise, Aleve-knockoff several days ago.
Do you like anyone?
Because I am, of course, twelve, with the emotional range and expressiveness to match. Actually, I will choose to interpret this as entirely platonic. *Cheerful and wide-eyed* Of course! Don't you?
What is the last thing you bought?
Groceries for Mom yesterday, but she paid me back.
