(1) What are some of the holiday traditions you look forward to in your family?
Well, coming home to see my family is great. And at Christmastime, we have an odd tree. We will not cut down a tree for our tree, but we have to put our ornaments on something, so we have had pine branches, a metal tree made by my mother, palm branches in Florida, and this year a "tree" made of real, fragrant fir (or spruce or something) branches wrapped around a metal frame. It's two-dimensional. :P But we decorated it!
(2) If you could travel back in time to see any music group or performer live in concert, whom would you like to see?
I would've liked to see Beethoven play (or conduct, which I think he also did, but mostly play). I would totally fangirl over Beethoven.
(3) What were some of the albums/videos you enjoyed as a child that drove your parents crazy?
I didn't get a CD player until I was ten, but I had a cassette player, and I always played audio tapes to help me get to sleep. My parents' room is across the hall from mine, so they practically memorized "Sarah Plain and Tall." It kind of drove them nuts.
(4) What is the first album you remember purchasing?
Gosh - I mostly don't buy my own CDs, and did so even less when I was younger. They just cost so much relative to my allowance. The first one I remember buying was the soundtrack to "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," which I bought from a junk store.
(5) What is your favorite song of the moment?
Maybe "Carol of the Bells" or "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen." I love Christmas music, especially in December.
