Yay for Being Good People!
Becky and I bought presents for the Angel Tree! She picked ones for a 10-12-year-old girl, and I got them for a 10-14-year-old girl, and we each got two novels and a journal. I got Howl's Moving Castle, Artemis Fowl, and a green journal with flowers and a ribbon bookmark; Becky got Harriet the Spy, Ella Enchanted, and a cute journal with a fuzzy monkey on it. They're all wrapped, and we can put them under the Angel Tree tomorrow. Yay for spreading good books through the world and encouraging kids to write! (Also, this is the second copy of Howl's Moving Castle I've bought from our bookstore to give as gifts; I've also bought two copies of its sequel, Castle in the Air, for that purpose. Kinda funny.)
