Also, a meme stolen from an lj pal: If you could meet your 16-year-old self right now, what 5 things would she find most surprising about your life?
1. I didn't . . . really . . . um . . . get taller.
2. I have met Diana Wynne Jones!!! At sixteen, I hadn't read as many of her books, but "Howl's Moving Castle" had a very special place in my heart, and I'd been through "Dogsbody" a couple of times.
3. I'm really quite fit and good-looking. Sixteen-year-old Nic would be pleased.
4. I still have not finished the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Sixteen-year-old Nic would be apalled.
5. Jon. Honestly, the grown-up-ness - every milestone of it, be it driver's license or facial hair or WHATEVER - of my little brother, shocks the heck out of twenty-one-year-old Nic, let alone any other age. If sixteen-year-old Nic saw eighteen-year-old Jon, she would flip.
Also, had a silly dream last night. It was like a combination of "Buffy: the Vampire Slayer" and "Ghostbusters", only with me and Bakura. :) My dreams are so funny sometimes.
