Website/LJ help

I am killing my website. Dreamhost is nice and lovely but I don't use the space and the fanfic archive is way out of date. Right now, some things just have to go. So obviously my fic will be here on LJ. That hasn't changed.

Big question: what do I do about my LJ layout? Do I need a website to host the banner & css? Can I host the banner on the scrapbook for instance?
