O Canada!
Happy Canada Day to my Northern friends! Thank you for your tv shows, your lopsided wit and droll perspective, and yes even for curling. (Truthfully I think we have Scotland to blame for that, but as the song goes, "blame Canada".)
I was in Victoria, BC for the provincial holiday in August several years ago. I remember the guides at Craigdarroch Castle commenting how they used to trade fireworks displays with their American neighbors because the respective birthdays and borders are so close. I will probably celebrate by finally watching the Da Vinci movie.
