Oh shush. Not like that. I was enjoying a nice leisurely Sunday afternoon with two of my favorite couples and later two of my favorite baseball teams. There's some weird symmetry there. Now if it'll just juggle loose the writing muses...
I was finally introduced to the DCAU Catwoman today. The first few minutes of "Cat and the Claw" with the rooftop chase remind me exactly why I love Bruce/Selina so much. (My friendslist agrees with me. They're still leading the DCU pairings.) The only minus is the blonde hair, which I can blame on Michelle Pfeiffer. All I ask is if Nolan decides to bring her into the latest Batman movies, could he please cast a black haired beauty? At least she still had the gorgeous green eyes. Poor Bruce. He really didn't stand a chance, did he?
I also watched the first dvd of "Lois & Clark". God I used to love that show. I have to admit it snuck up on me. I went into it with the fan ennui of "Maybe it won't suck?" and found I adored it. I'd forgotten how slowly the pilot started off. Or that their first kiss was that early on. Lois is still a little more flaky than hard as nails. But I do so love Martha & Jonathan. Great shades of Elvis! Dear old Lane Smith, I'll miss your pearls of Elvis wisdom. You were never quite how I pictured Perry, but he made the role his own, same as John Shea. And Tracy Scoggins stalking me through half a dozen fandoms. I'd forgotten I'd first encountered her in "The Colbys".
