Bats and newsletters

Mar 21, 2006 23:49

I tried my hand at writing the BatFamily for dc_central's initial MicroChallenge with "Implications", jumping off the inevitable questions about Cass' future after the end of "Batgirl". I think there's a reason I read the Bats, but I don't write them as much as the rest of fandom.

dc_icontest has opened and desperately wants members. The BatFamily is their current theme.

How to be kind your friendly neighborhood fandom newsletter editor: Things to remember when submitting posts for consideration for newsletters. Some of the information is pretty self-explanatory, like proof-reading fic etc, things to consider before sending it to the fandom at large. Matching icons to posts is sometimes trickier, especially when I am so very multi-fandom girl, but I do understand the reasons. I do cross purpose some icons like the Narnia icon is also my Gryffindor lion. But no one would confuse John Sheppard with Cyclops, so I get the point.
