When my fandoms collide... again... and again...
I watched "Cupid" when it first aired. I was even on the early mailing lists for the show. I remember the fandom colliding moment when the Mayor Wilkins from "Buffy" went tapdancing down the street with a song and love in his heart. I don't remember Joe Flanigan's episodes nearly as well. I think I do remember the controversy over his character since everyone shipped the two leads. But it was amusing to discover a "Da Vinci's Inquest" connection when I watched the pilot episode. There was Sarah Strange, Dominic's favorite secretary Helen, as a member of the singles group and singing karaoke. Only the pilot was shot in Vancouver so that was her only appearance in the series. Interestingly, Ellie Harvie, better known as the hiccuping Dr. Novak from SG1/SGA, also apparently pops up in the episode, but I have yet to figure out who she played.
