Clipping Angel's wings
X-Men 3 continues to look dire. They've cast Six Feet Under's Ben Foster as Angel. He might not be my favorite mutant, but hello, casting people? Warren Worthington III is a pretty rich boy - blonde and beautiful and make all the girls sigh. Except for that whole wings thing. I'm all for blind casting/ chameleon actors, but this one just doesn't work for me.
DC Comics has its solicits for October. Comics Continuum doesn't have the Vertigo/Wildstorm ones yet. CBR had a massive crash last night. Astro City: Local Heroes finally pops up in trade format. (I'm not loving the current trend towards hardcover first and then trade.) Also curious that they're including the first issue of "Sandman Mystery Theatre" in the Vertigo: First Offenses sampler.
