Someone teach me how ACR works, what it does and why everyone else has it :P

What's the best way to recolour so that the image isn't really pixelly? I seem
to be getting worse and worse results with my methods at the moment!

Craaaaaaaap!! I am having serious computer troubles... I think my antivirus software has deleted a Windows System file... Today, I was thinking about making one of the only types of CC I've never attempte properly... a career. But I've got no ideas! I want to make some more realistic careers than soem fo the ones on MTS (Oil Baron, for example!)
