a celebration of chocolate

I've had an awesome saturday so far- the only thing lacking was my inability to catch sher, joy & the rest at city hall ): boo.
but yes, so far it's been great!
(: I woke up early enough to bake vegan chocolate cupcakes which I've named "debaterz" because i've made them to seem like they have mouths stuffed with french fries- i don't know why. it just reminds me of the times when debaters just ramble on and you just want to shove something into their mouths to make them stop ( i sometimes want to do that to myself. trust me.)
and then I managed to meet up with a handful of AO2 people to celebrate Mrs Ong's birthday at our beloved grey campus.
AND AND AND. the best is yet to come: hurr hurr, the sun was nice and hot when i got home and i managed to get a nice tan and a good swim *beams* plus plus, i managed to go for tap and squirm my way into getting a spot for the edinburgh talks (1930- 2100) at the british council despite not having registered earlier.
NOW. the british council incident was embarrassing. Apparently, I harassed the poor scottish lady, Katrina Edmunds, enough to have had her remember me as the indecisive child.
I went into the room, asked for her, and when i met her i went :" Hi! I'm Valerie, the girl who's been emailing you about the courses at Edinburgh? Valerieeeeee@gmail.com?" and she went: " OH! hello! haha so have you finally decided on what you want to do at Edinburgh?" and at that moment, my head went blank. It was then that I realised how much she must hate that stupid singaporean girl who spams her with emails all day long- each email asking about a different course and comprising of a request to change to a different course every other day. boo me. I'm a nuisance.

DIS-A-PPOINTED i tell you. The crust was good, the filling was just cheap. The filling was basically lotsa starch with sugar and a dash of cinammon. booooo
