Population is a major problem. Sadly, population control is currently incompatible with democracy. Things are destined to get worse. So the most likely scenario is war and control from the top.
Well, this guy kept insisting that the common person is really tuned into the climate crisis. That would be our only other hope. Possibly though some kind of religious contagion. Maybe a global religion telling everyone to stop having sex...
But really, pandemics and fires and extinctions and farm failures etc., make a positive outlook difficult.

I agree with you.
Maybe the common person in the U. K. but not in America and I'm unsure of any place else. I won't put my faith in the common person. Global religion is certainly a fantasy and even if possible the planet will die before complete. People stop procreating is possible but not having sex, that isn't going to happen.
Like I said...you don't want to know how I feel about it as there will not be a positive outcome. Drastic change now would need to happen in order to save the planet and I doubt it will happen.
