Yar Har Fiddle Dee Dee
I've been having really weird dreams lately. I am not entirely sure of the cause, and I am beginning to suspect my NuvaRing. The ultra vivid dreams started not long after I switched to it. Have there been any studies on links between hormone levels and dreaming patterns? And since the NuvaRing jacks hormone levels in a very localized way, do my dreams actually occur in my uterus?
Work is still slow as hell with a side of impending doom. The students will be back in two weeks. I, for one, am greatly looking forward to it. Though they can drive me to near homicide. Though they can be dense, rude, annoying and borderline mentally handicapped... they are still - each and every one of them - easier to deal with than the constant stream of advice, gossip, and general inane stupidity that comes from my bored coworkers.
I am waiting for Thursday. Thursday John gets to ditch the crutches and will only need a cane for a while. His knee is healing really well and he has only given me minor heart attacks with the way he pole vaults around the apartment. But I can't wait to go cane shopping. We'll need something that just says, "I'm a pirate pimp"... and totally has a hidden sword. Yeah.
