Again let's come back for a short time to Krakow area. Church in the village of Prandocim - one of the oldest churches in the  area:

Prandocim is a very small village about 35 km to the north from Krakow. If not the church Prandocim will be very ordinary and uninteresting village. But in this village you still can find one of the oldest churches in the area. ST. John The baptist church was built between  1120 and 1150. Despite that church was reconstructed in the XVth century it maintained many details from XIIth century.

General view of the church:

Backside of the church:

Those walls remember XIIth century:

Local cemetery near the church:

Going away:

Belfry is much younger: wooden building from XVIIIth century - older ones clearly does not survived:

Good bye Prandocim:

If Prandocim church isn't significant architectural achievement it's age makes impression. There are no very many surviving churches from XIIth century in the region.
