Big water again ...
Several months ago I posted report about spring flood in Kaunas. Yesterday big water returned back...
It is not something unusual to have floods in this country but twice per year .... Inside you will find my selection of photos from the tabloid 15min done yesterday:
Yesterday was very hot day here. And very humid. All that ended in a very heavy rain in the evening. Cyclone which formed somewhere in the southern Ukraine near the Black sea spilled water here :))) In the first two hours the intensity of rain in Kaunas was about 25 mm/hour (but it is very moderate level comparing with the intensity observed in one township in Trakai district - 80 mm/hour). Rain which started at 7 p.m. yesterday ended only about 5 - 6 a.m. in the morning today. And here are several outcomes of the rain:
