Sitting here bored, tired, and waiting for some sort of response for the ten-odd job applications I've sent out this week. (Obviously, Wachovia was a no-go.)
Anyway, came across this game.
http://www.yoyogames.com/games/show/32692 It's called j20. It's a simple game. You play as a jellyfish and you sting and eat your enemies! It's not very long; it only has three levels plus a boss battle. But I was most impressed with the feel of the game. The artistic style is very beautiful and unique, and the music very much lends to the aquatic environs. Controls are point and click. Fun if you have a few minutes to kill!
YoYo Games has a lot of neat games, in general. All of it was made by the user community with a program called Game Maker. Tt seems pretty neat. Basically, it allows you to make a professional looking game without knowing a lick of programming. If I had $20 of my own, I just might pick it up. But for now, I'll just stick to learning programming.
Other fun YoYo games:
Bit Rider 3D
