First off, I've seen a good number of the shows you've been in over the past... what, 5 or 6 years? and I can tell you right away that you've come a long way as an actor. You went from being someone who I thought (to be totally frank with you) lacked stage presence and confidence back in middle school, to someone who I think really warrants a lead role these days. Your ability to play two characters - Johann and Pantalone - who are so drastically different, and to make both of them just as convincing, is a definite sign of your talent. Don't get down on yourself, as I'm certain that you'll find yourself with very good roles in the next two shows. Furthermore, I feel a bit guilty, because I'm pretty sure that Faust had you pegged for Lazar Wolf and me for the innkeeper, and it got tossed around last minute. I feel as if I kind of stole your spot in that sense. :-/
Anyway, in terms of writing shows, have you considered finishing it up and performing it for summer theatre? I think that would be a good idea. Definitely, keep at it, regardless of whether it finds its way to an Ipswich stage or not. You never know who might come across it and find it to be the next great thing. Creativity is always a good thing.
Anyway, there's my two cents. See you in school tomorrow.
