Every 14 seconds a child loses a parent to AIDS - that's 6,000 children every day.

In 2005, AIDS in Kenya killed 140,000 people, leaving 1.1 million children orphaned by HIV.

Where is Your Money Going?

All proceeds for this event will be sent to CMF International’s Kenya/Maasai work.  We are raising money for two equally important needs in the fight against AIDS: prevention and treatment.  Narok Health Ministries, a part of CMF Kenya, has eight health clinics that have already registered over 700 HIV+ patients.  Half of the money we raise will be used to support the health clinics as they fight HIV/AIDS first hand.  The other half of the money we raise will be used to support Maasai Youth Ministries.  Youth make up 71% of the African population, so educating youth how to prevent this deadly disease is vital.  Maasai Youth Ministries is able to teach AIDS prevention while sharing the Word of God.  If you would like more information, please visit their website: www.maasai.net.
