Important Lesson Learned
Sunday I learned a very important lesson in youth ministry - when a kid says he's feeling sick, don't tell him to wait and see if he feels better, take him straight to the bathroom. During Jr. Church on Sunday a little boy raised his hand and said he didn't feel good, but he couldn't tell me where it hurt, so I figured he just wanted to leave. I had everyone sit down to sing the next song and two seconds later I watched the same boy bring back his strawberry yogurt from breakfast onto his legs, shoes, and the shoe and leg of the girl in front of him. Becci decided that was a good time to dismiss everyone to their classes while we cleaned him up. But it wasn't too bad. I'm just sorry that the little girl went off to her class without getting cleaned off and we forgot about her. I'm sure it was a suprise for her parents later. lol.
