How can one tell
Each person boils in embarrassment
Who has crossed whom
and double crossed the other?

When has truth become the buzzword that I can't really hear?

Has time finally dissapated
Finally driven apart?
We got so near, though airfare held us at start.
And we got so close, and the miles didn't stop

Emotions can be faked, and emotions can be learned
But can hope come back from a trip
when loins no longer burn?
