It's been quite a while since I posted here, but I promised
angledge that I would do a blog, so here it is. In the first installment of our odyssey, I will present a topic that I expect to return to many times: "why would you eat that"? There are plenty of things that you see for sale in Hong Kong, and you just have to wonder to yourself: "why would anybody eat that"? I will be aided in documenting this facet of Hong Kong life by the fact that people in Hong Kong like to take pictures of food, so I won't look like an idiot running around snapping photos in restaurants. Or at least, not more of an idiot than I usually look like.
On to our first installment. The following appetizer was ordered by my companions at the Paradiso bar in Shek-O, which is a small beach town on the southeast side of Hong Kong island.
