It was nothing short of a miracle that he was here. Never in a million years did Chiyu believe that this would happen. He had dreamed countless times about the shorter man. in his dreams he imagined what it would be like to go on a date with him, to eat sushi with him, to watch a movie with him at home in their pajamas, to make love to him. But even through all the, sometimes very realistic, dreams, Chiyu never imagined that it could ever be a reality.
Sometimes he had to pinch himself to remind himself that it was not a dream. Shinpei was here, in his bed, with him. One arm was wrapped around Chiyu's stomach while his head rested on the taller man's chest. He was naked with only the bed sheets covering his lower half. Chiyu lifted a hand and gently patted Shinpei's hair. The loving smile on his face never leaving his face as he watched the other man sleep with lips slightly parted.
Chiyu let his eyes close and his mind drift as he laid in bliss. The opened window in the room allowed for the sun to beam down harshly but even the summer heat and a forehead full of sweat was not enough to ruin Chiyu's pleasant mood.
Chiyu thought back to that day. They were the last ones at the restaurant. Their friends had decided to ditch him and since he had lost their little game before that, Chiyu was stuck paying the entire bill. He had cursed his friends out as they were leaving, calling them cheaters and moochers, but his foul mood suddenly changed when he noticed that Shinpei was still there. The shorter man had looked really nervous and awkward that evening but all Chiyu could see was how handsome he looked. Then, Shinpei had gathered the courage to just say it. Three little words. Later he revealed to Chiyu how that evening was not at all how he planned to confess his feelings and that it shocked even him.
Chiyu smiled at the memory.
It was a miracle that they were together and Chiyu knew it. He was never going to let his little miracle escape.
