(no subject)
So the old apartment is all clean save for vacuuming and a few items that need to be moved out (and the things that I want to give away. I might just put them on a street corner with a "FREE" sign, sob) which is yay!
But today's job interview was a little...mrrgh inducing. The interview itself went fantastic. Like, I really clicked with my interviewers, I think I really impressed them, but then they asked if I was going to go into politics since my degree was polisci and I answered "No, I'm more interested in further pursuing my cultural studies degree." and then they asked when I was planning on going to grad school. And. I sort of lied by omission but I did say "a couple of years" which clearly was not quite jiving with one of my interviewers because she said they wanted someone who could stick with the position for a while.
So pretty much, if this place doesn't call me back, I'm not going to be that broken up over it. Did not get around to putting in applications at the dog walking and doggy daycare places I found earlier, but I will try to do that tomorrow. But other than that, there's no new leads on anything else, not much is showing up in terms of my craigslist searches, and now that the whole moving fiasco is starting to calm down I'm getting steadily more "mmmrgh" about my job hunt.
Though in positive news, I found out that I have enough frequent fliers to buy a ticket to New York for only about $60. So there might be a vacation in the future.
