[Currently, the event is going on in full force, and Adell knows well and good he's affected by it. But what he doesn't know is that thought bubbles can appear above your head even while you sleep. Adell is standing atop a cliff, looking out to the ocean glinting in a sunset. The waves are rolling along and crashing against the shore and cliff face below. He's just looking out to the horizon for the moment, until the sound of a motorcycle approaching snaps him out of his reverie.
Riding the motorcycle is Luka, dressed in a black leather riding outfit. She waves to him after she brings the vehicle to a stop. She dismounts and approaches him. Her voice and mannerisms reflect her standard personality, however.
"I knew you'd be all the way out here. You're not having second thoughts about what we agreed to, are you?"
Adell spins around and gives her a quick thumbs-up. "Of course not. I agreed to it, and I'm staying on until the end!"]

[Waah, Luka looks so mature there. Luka wants the creators to make her grow up like that one day.]
[Still watching.]

"I'd expect nothing less of you. This tournament is extremely important."
"Of course. Whoever wins becomes the next Defender of Earth, after all."
"Kurtis recommended you for a reason. He was the last Defender, and he believes you have what it takes. You have to prove him right. You have to make sure that the title is not misused. Only you can bring the Soaring Helldam to victory."
Adell nods, then looks back out to the sea for a moment, seemingly lost in thought...]

[Yes! Only Adell-niichan can be the next Defender of Earth! He will win everyone else!]

That remark creates a start in the fighter, and he spins back around, looking as hot-blooded as ever. "It's not! What am I doing out here, anyway?! I've got training to do! Is the Soaring Helldam fully operational?"
"Of course it is. I saw to it myself."
Adell smiles broadly. "Couldn't have asked for better support than you. Come on! We should get back." He sticks a thumb out in the direction of further down the highway. As the camera pans toward where he's pointing, the outline of a red motorcycle similar to Luka's can be seen.
Luka nods in reply, though it looks like she's holding back a bigger smile. They both walk toward their respective motorcycles, mount up, and begin driving down the way.
But not long after, it looks like a suspicious vehicle begins following them... ]

And then a hatch opens at the top of the vehicle, and a masked man appears with a heavy machine gun and opens fire at both of them. Luka and Adell begin weaving back and forth as the trail of bullets approaches, and just as the bullets are about to strike their rear wheels, both veer off to a dirt side road, much narrower in size.
It looks like they're safe... for about a moment. Then the loud roar of multiple off-road bike engines sounds. Six other bikes quickly arrive on the scene, all with riders dressed in black, chasing both of them.]

As Adell breaks past a dark-clad villain, he sticks out an arm and clotheslines him right off his motorcycle, sending it out of control and off into the woods, where it promptly explodes unnecessarily. After that, he accelerates over to another foe and sideswipes him. The enemy is only off balance for about a moment before he brakes briefly enough to end up right behind Adell. The mook lifts up his front tire and wheelies forward, attempting to strike Adell in the back. It doesn't work; the red-haired rider instead turns around and punches the incoming tire with a great deal of strength. [When back out on the main road, all looks clear again. Until suddenly the same armored van looms from around a corner! It draws close again, but this time no one pops out of the top hatch. Adell and Luka glance back at each other, and with a smile, Adell springs into action ( ... )

"...Always have to make a show of every fight you get into, don't you?"
"...Oh, don't think I didn't see you with that whip. You're hardly one to talk."
There's a slight giggle at this comment, but her tone remains somewhat wry. "Oh? Do you wish to walk back home?" Adell just gives her a knowing, if slightly sarcastic smirk, and simply sits down on the motorcycle behind her.
"No, this is fine. Let's go."
Once he's situated fully, Luka revs the engine and drives on down the road toward a large compound in the distance.]
