016 A Series of Unfortunate(?) Events [Action]

[It's a good morning in Luceti today, and Adell is up, dressed, and ready for another day.  Full of training and sparring and just in general goofing off.  This is going to be a good day, he can feel it.   He throws on his coat and prepares to leave.]

Okay, Adell! See you later!

[But little did Adell know, Flonne was not just some flower-shop worker -- no, not any longer! She was Flonne, Private Investigator of Love, and this. This was her first case.

Once she thinks Adell has gone out far enough, she immediately gets with said tailing, trying to stay behind trees, houses, and occasionally other people. And yes, she's even got the classic detective's hat and trench coat. ... It doesn't fit her very well, either.

Oh yeah. Best P.I. ever.]

[Lilly will be in the barracks. She's not in her normal outfit though, but in some rather drab looking peasant clothing. Also the inside of it has been basically refitted to include large basins of hot water, laundry lines, and so forth. She seems to be working very hard in there doing this very grueling task.]

[And here comes Adell inside the barracks. When he gets into the main room, he just kind of... stops and stares.]

...Wait, what's going on here?

[Crap! She's been found out!]

Ah... nothing, nothing at all! Just... move along.

[vulcanblazer]

[He's bad at listening. He walks into vision range of her.]

Lilly? Is that you? ...What's with all this stuff?

[Terra's not too far from the barracks, abusing nearby ears with the sound of her flute 'music'. Please, for the good of Luceti, drag her away to go train.]

[After getting his shirt cleaned and dried, Adell exits the barracks and is promptly greeted by ear-splitting racket not more than a hundred feet down the road.]

What the hell is that?!

[And of course, he goes to investigate. And he sees Terra massacring all that is music playing the flute.]

Terra? What are you doing?

[Terra pauses (undoubtedly earning Adell gratitude from any who haven't fled the area) and smiles at him.]

Hello, Adell! I was just playing my flute, that's all. I know I need more practice....

[He resists the urge to rub his ears. Shrill was an understatement. He'll walk up next to her, and hope to all that is holy she doesn't try to play now.]

Hey, everyone's gotta start somewhere. You're not good at something overnight. How've you been lately, anyway?

[Rydia's stumbling along the street, wincing a little. Every so often, she leans against a building wall to steady herself. Her gaze is a bit unfocused as well, and she nearly walks into a few people on her way. Adell can be one of these people, or spot her anywhere along her route.]

[Because it's most fitting for an anime a coincidence, Adell will get bumped into at a blind corner. Kind of surprised, he turns to see it was Rydia that he bumped into.]

Sorry about that, Rydia. You okay?

I'm...fine.

[That's said a little stiffly, as Rydia tries to hold onto what's left of her pride. A moment later, she sighs and slumps a little.]

...I'm tired of being stuck in the house, so I wanted to take a walk. But...everything's still really blurry, and I'm not quite sure where I am, now.

I don't blame you for wanting to get out. But "really blurry?"

[He has no clue currently about her impediments. It's been awhile...]

Hmmm... Hello there... **She remembers teasing him before... Maybe again?**

[He'll look up. And trying his best to not immediately turn bright red. He's still not used to the "next to nothing" part.]

Hey, Valvalis! Haven't seen you in awhile.

Mhmm. I've been staying home lately. I find it much better to stay out of people's way when they start to act strange. That is... unless... it benefits me.

[His tone is relaxed, with just a touch of ribbing.]
