[This guy again. But... he might know something.]
What do you know about Mu? What has she done back in your world, how did she come about, what her purpose was, and why did she suddenly go berserk in the village?

[What he knows is something of a mystery and what information he's willing to give even more so. Still he'll offer at least some info but a question first.]
...Captain Hazama was here in Luceti for some time, wasn't he? He never told you anything about its purpose?

Mu is an Anti-Sankishin unit, model 12 in the line. Murakumo Units are living weapons meant to combat whatever the hell Sankishins are, and are created, and can be given directives. They have some ability to act on their own when it's not conflicting with their primary objective. Though their original objective was to explore something called "The Boundary."
...And of course, that snake Hazama has something to do with them. So whatever their purpose is, it can't be anything remotely good.
...I also know that Mu's been here for a very long time. And that she's normally someone else.

[He's not surprised that Adell is aware of who it is. And to be honest, he doesn't really care, either.]
Murakumo Unit 12 was tempered to become Kusanagi, the God Slayer. Its sole purpose was to locate and destroy the Sankishin Master Unit, Amaterasu, which was hidden somewhere within the Boundary.

Most likely. Being the successor of the azure, she became "the eye".
Her eyes can observe and locate Amaterasu.
Amaterasu is responsible for the various time loops and continuum shifts. Our world as we know it is all lies. Destroying the Master Unit would supposedly stop those time loops. The dead stay dead and the future continues as it normally should.
Hazama wanted the truth to be exposed, most likely. A dead world full of despair.

...Manmade. So people made a net to prevent their own extinction.
So what Hazama was after was to pull the plug. Remove the safety net. Make the pieces fall where they will. And if people needed a safety net to avoid annihilation... that's what he sees as the truth of the world?

More probable than not.
I never made it to the rooftop where Mu was tempered. I was pulled into Luceti after Lieutenant Tsubaki Yayoi intercepted me, blocking my path to follow Ragna.
From the few things that my brother spoke about to me upon my arrival, there seems to have been a lot more going on than what I know. The Imperator showed their face, even, which has never happened before.

The Imperator? The head of the NOL? Tsubaki and Noel have mentioned them in the past. But... only that the Imperator was the highest authority.
But if they showed up... does that mean they had a stake in what was happening? Did they try to stop what was happening?
[Because why would a leader of a group like the NOL, allegedly dedicated to protecting its citizens, be on the side of wanting to plunge the world into despair?]

I need the most complete picture you can give me.

That smug bastard just gloated about having her. Before I punched the smirk off his goddamn face.

And what's the significance of this Amaterasu thing? And why would Hazama want to destroy it in the first place?

But time loops? Continuum Shifts? Did this Amaterasu Unit try to regulate your world so it could live?

Doesn't sound like he wants the truth at all. He just wants oblivion, doesn't he?
