[Action]

[...It happened.  Again.  Every time this happened it just hurt more.  You'd think by now the pain would've dulled away.  But when he woke up this morning and went to say good morning to Luka, her half of the room she shared with Charlotte was bare.  Anything that belonged to her, gone, just like every other time this had happened.  Nothing of her was left behind, no letters, no notes... even the headphones and toy Tachikoma he had gotten for her were gone without a trace.

Why did this have to happen to her of all people?  It meant that everything they had done together she would forget.  All the progress and experiences, the bond they had.  She'd forgotten it by now.  She was going back to being "just a machine."  Even though she had been lost and... depressed about her lot in life for quite awhile now, he can't help but feel like that sort of fate was one she didn't deserve.

...This one hurt more than any other one he'd felt in the past.  When Mom left, he had been turned into an archangel, and given an airy serenity that he couldn't replicate now.  But even with that peace of mind, losing Mom still hurt, but it was tempered by one very important fact.  If he ever returned, he'd see Mom again.  She'd be right at home waiting for him to get back, just like she was every day when he went out to fight.  But Luka... there was a very real chance that he'd never see her again.  And even if he did, it was as good a chance that she would never remember him, her memories lost to the ether, with her reverted back to the state she was when she first arrived.

...The thought shredded his heart and made every part of his body feel heavy.  Luka... was special, and though all relationships are irreplaceable, hers with him was... unique.  A feeling he'd never experienced before.  It was love, but... not purely romantic.  But it wasn't strictly platonic.  And it wasn't only familial.   It was some weird combination of it all, a feeling no one else gave him, a love that defied any ability he had to classify it.  The feeling didn't vanish with Luka; no, his own memories were still in place, still as strong as ever.  But that's what made it hurt so much.  And with her disappearing, possibly for good this time, left him feeling like part of him was just missing.  She'd made that much of an impact on him, and the realization of that cut through him like a knife.

...What would he do if Terra or Stahn left?  Or Charlotte?

Unsurprisingly, for the better portion of the day, he doesn't leave the house.  The only thing he wanted for most of the day was to just be with Charlotte.  She would no doubt be sad too, and for most of the day, they'd probably want... or need, each other.

Eventually, by evening, Adell is composed enough, or so he thinks, to deliver a message.  ...And as well, get some work done to take his mind off of Luka.  He needs to focus.  And he needs answers.]

[Voice, Public]

...I regret to inform everyone in Luceti there will be no concerts by Luka Megurine in the foreseeable future.  Luka... has been sent home.  I'm sorry to all those who knew her and enjoyed her music.   [He hesitates for a moment, stumbling in his mind for words.]  Wish her the best, everyone.

...I've waited too long on this.  Anyone who knows anything about Mu.  I need to talk to you.

[Voice, Filtered to Ragna the Bloodedge, 100%]

...But I need to talk to you the most, Ragna.  I need to know what happened, how it all came about.  ...And most importantly, how we can stop it from happening again.  If it can.  ...I'm sorry if this seems unfair to ask.  I don't want to see Noel victimized by this if the Malnosso did it to her, but I do also have the responsibility to find out and tell the truth to people about what happened.

Much as I hate having to do it right now...
