[Now that he's mostly better from the fight with Hazama, and that things have finally died down a little... even if things aren't quite back the way that he wants them, an idea struck Adell. Granted, it came about more during that period of bright inspiration a couple of days ago, but it was one of several. Adell picks up his journal.]

I was there when Aku attacked, and later...I was swimming when I suddenly felt extremely drowsy. I couldn't keep my eyes open and I would have drowned, were it not for some help.

[Having heard the message before dozing off for a bit earlier, Koakuma has decided to wander over from next door to talk about that trip Adell mentioned, but...hm. She must have gotten back up after his quick stop home, since it appears he isn't there. She will be waiting for him to come back instead of calling him over the journals, not at all suspecting that once again something has happened to one of his friends.]

[Adell will return home eventually, the bag of milkshake ingredients still with him. But with an unusual addition. Koa will see him carrying a large, somewhat wicked looking black bow. And his expression looks... tired. Not necessarily as stressed or worried as it would've been while Noel was missing. But if she looks closely enough, his eyes are probably red and tired.

For now he steps into the apartment, and does not immediately notice her as he turns around and locks the door.]

[Koa notices the bow quickly, and already recognizing it as not his style, she realizes that something is up. Once she sees that he seems a bit tired as well, she begins getting an idea of what that something is. So much for simply discussing those weekend plans...]

[He looks down at the bow for a moment, almost as though he realized he was actually carrying it. He swallows back what's left of the tension in his throat and speaks, a little hesitantly.]

[She's wandering home from a good hard day of training. Lyn's actually feeling pretty good right now, nice and limber, and just that right state of tired where you're really looking forward to getting home and plopping down in a chair.

Spying Adell out of the corner of her eye, she lifts a hand to wave and starts to call out to him...

And freezes.

She recognizes that bow.

She stares.

And blinks.

And stares some more.

And abruptly breaks into a run towards him.]
