Anime Central has now come and gone... To mix up my usual con report style, here's the flash of memories in a convenient bullet-point style!
LOTS of peeps from all over the MidwestA hilarious trip to the Mexican restraunt Not Maria's (for Cinco de Mayo)"seaaaa donnnnnkeeehhhhh!" (just to make Sean bust out laughing)We brought it down to awesomeness!Drazz is a MODblocker.Fast Food Anime has now secured a place at the upcoming ColossalCon, Youmacon, Sugoi Con, and Ohayocon.
Big thanks to my peeps at Reactor, RedOctane, Media Blasters, and Manga Entertainment! An amazing amount of rockin people stopped by the booth and repped the Fast Food Anime love. All of you kick 20 kinds! On a point of awesomeness, as the dealer room was shutting down, I went to the RedOctane booth to procure one of their nice Ignition pads. They were in the process of ripping the two demo pads off the floor (they duct taped them down), and offered them to me outright for FREE! I now have TWO $100-retail DDR pads that I can use with the PS2 or PC. Perfect for StepMania! Unfortunately, they don't have the X-Box adapters (I don't own a PS2, just a PC and X-Box), but for FREE I ain't complainin'.
ACen ROCKED, and now I have a short two week break before a stiff 3-convention stretch to
Sogen Con,
Colossal Con, and
OMG! Con. Oh, and DDR RULES!
