I arrived 30 minutes late to class today because I was at the chiropractic office (a guy coach hooked me up with). I did thirty ropes. the most ive ever done. ropes are this crazy excercise involving a rope off the ground. you must jump from one side of the rope to the other facing front, however many times, so in my case thirty, then facing sideways with the rope to your left or right. jump over to the other side, and then jump back as quick as you can.

doing this will quickly make you want to stop. but you will keep going for however many reps you have to complete. however many minutes you were late to class equals your reps.

once you have jumped frontways and sideways over the rope, you must jump again over sideways, except this time, sprawl out, shimmy on your stomach underneath the rope to the other side. and then begin again with the jump and sprawl. each time you go underneath the rope, this equals one.




Also at class today for the first time in over two years was a buddy of mine, brian from the whitebelt days. we had some pretty intense matches and basicly made it so we both were really good. he got his blue belt at another school, and now it seems it is back on, both of us submitted each other once with the same thing.

i got him now thou, he wont be able to handle the guard.
