This is why I like books. They can sit on your shelf and lurk, biding their time...

At the start of the summer, I picked up a copy of Pride and Prejudice, since there was now this book out called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and I wanted to read the original first. The problem was, I found it to be slow going. I'd read a chapter, then put the book down and forget about it. (And the start has some short as hell chapters, let me tell you.) I'd actually gone almost a month without touching the damned thing, to be honest.
But today I had some long bus travel to deal with, so I grabbed P&P to take with me. I figured that if I was bored with it, I could always just watch the scenery fly past. But while on the bus I was introduced to Messrs Collins and Wickham, and now I can't put the fucking thing down! Goddamn!
