kiss

pg
series of drabbly bits? i srsly do not know!
clichéd fluff/romance, angst.
summary: preteenagers!yoosu are best friends but a kiss changes things.
a/n: again, written late late at night, please excuse any errors.
story/plunny is simple and very clichéd!

...so i realize this could very well exist in the same AU as this earlier untitled yoosu i wrote. hence,

the most painful school week ever

excited about junsu and isa being together, just about everyone in school made cat-calls and wolf-whistles every single time junsu and isa entered the scene.

"wheeeee... look, it's junsu and isa!"

"sweetest thing ever! whoooop!"

"aren't they adorable?"

"wow, yoochun, did junsu ever tell you how he got himself such a lovely girl?"

but it's okay, they are cute, thought yoochun, and he's happy.

maybe he could deal with it.

however, watching in silence, while a gazillion romantic clichés directed to isa came spilling through junsu's lips was exceedingly difficult.

"you're like all the stars that twinkle in the sky, only shinier..." junsu would profess, pointing to non-existent constellations in the bright blue sky.

"...let's make hearts like our love!" positioning one arm to form half a heart, junsu would motion to isa with the other to come over and complete it. yoochun was always forced to capture the cutesy moment with junsu and isa's cellphone cameras.

"i feel like the world is alot prettier when i'm with you..." isa would turn tomato-red and hide her face, telling junsu to stop it! and then junsu would blush even deeper and reach out to cup isa's cheek...

roses

one day, yoochun had opened his front door to find junsu donned in his best church outfit. he was holding a bouquet of red roses in front of his chest and giving the shyest grin ever.

so cute, yoochun had thought for a second before quickly collecting himself and uttering a soft and hopeful, "erm... hi?"

"yoochun-ah! do you like these?"

struggling to hold back an honest, yes, thank you so much, very sweet of you but it's weird to be giving me roses even if you lik-, yoochun had hastily mentally chastised himself before replying, "they're not bad..."

"great, thanks yoochun!" junsu had then waved goodbye and ran off like the wind.

--

no? kiss?

"yoochun yoochun yoochun..." a sweet ringing voice echoed- how could he possibly wake up with such a melodious alarm?

"yoochun yoochun yoochun, hey... time to wake up for soccer!"

yoochun opened his eyes slowly and gasped at the sight of junsu's smiling face hovering above him. he blinked.

"hi......" he yawned, covering his mouth with his hand to prevent junsu from getting a whiff of his morning breath. it could get pretty nasty.

"yoochun soccer! yoochun soccer!" enthused junsu, now spinning around on yoochun's revolving chair.

this was too good to be true- yoochun had spent every night of that week staring at the ceiling and wishing for junsu to not forget or, worse, neglect their soccer sundays- and junsu had remembered!

"yay... erm... where's isa?" he blurted without thinking.

junsu let the momentum of the rotating chair twirl him around for a couple of rounds before bouncing off and heading towards yoochun.

"yoochun-ah. i want to tell you something... i love you."

yoochun thought his ears were deceiving him.

"...always have... since the day we met at the park when we were little..."

as junsu meandered through dirty laundry and what-nots on his bedroom floor, yoochun's heart made several somersaults.

"me too, junsu, me too." he mouthed and pursed his lips, junsu's smiling face over his again.

this can't be real.

and it wasn't.

"yoochun yoochun yoochun..." real junsu was still playing with the revolving chair.

like déjà vu, except it isn't really. not good to be wide awake in a dream.
