I will remember what Peggy said to Pete ("Stop coming into my office and infecting me with your anxiety") and repeat it to my very anxious colleague.

Don is such an asshole. I'm sorry. He just is. Towards everybody, pretty much (his wife, Pete, Peggy). He behaves as if he бога за яйца поймал. I was actually glad to see Cooper stick it to him.

And do you have any doubts that he will fuck the teacher?

That said, Peggy + Duck = worst of all. I can't get over how she just threw it all away, the retard.

I'm actually very fond of Don. I know men like these -- they're extremely fun and even rewarding to hang around, but god forbid fall in love/get involved with one -- an extreme mind fuck, not to mention everything else.

the teacher, disgusts me. May be that's just a bad actress playing her, but she feels horribly fake + very cheap. I hope he doesn't stoop that low. Ack. And if they dare make it into a serious or "deep" relationship I will throw up.

Peggy+Duck is disgusting, yes, but I don't think she threw anything away, just made a stupid mistake that will cost her personally, not sure professionally.

I think that he's trying to get at Don through her. Would have been better to get at him through Pete, but Pete's too smart for that. Peggy will eventually get fired for that, you'll see, and Duck will throw her over. What a cunt he is, pardon my French.

I usually like Don, but he was pretty much insufferable in this one. He is horrible to Betty, who in her turn takes it out on their kids, and he was just offensive to Peggy--for no good reason. As far as how low he would stoop... ugh. Can I just say, Bobbie Barrett? If ever there was a skank on this show.

I liked the way the teacher behaved--she called him out on his bullshit (and he immediately played innocence insulted, pretending that he was different--but we know that he is just like all those other guys, or worse yet).

Remember, Duck is an alcoholic, and is very impulsive. I don't think he can get to Don that way. But we'll see.

They used to write Peggy much smarter than she was in this episode. She was very much out of character, I think. That said, Peggy is not getting fired from SC -- no way! She hasn't sold/divulged any trade secrets, and it's not against company policy to sleep around :)

Don's trying to go straight :)

I don't really like Betty that much. I understand her, I feel for her, but ... Why does she have to take it out on her kids? Also, I don't even think she is taking it out on them, I think she's just mostly clueless as a mother.

1) Duck may not be able to get to Don, but he will try.

2) Betty, darling, what are you talking about? What company policy? They just fired a guy for losing his foot and being unable to golf! They'll get rid of her just like that if it works for the plot.

3) Don's not even bothering to try to go straight. He can barely speak to Betty without snapping at her. He looked at Pete dancing with Trudy with absolute disgust on his face. He turned on her the moment she brought up the contract, yelling at her that she made it "about her"--which she did nothing of the sort.

4) That said, Betty is a very bad mother, I'll give you that. I still like her, though.

re: училка --
по-моему она сама к нему пристает! what was that drunk dialing the week before last? And this time around she actually comes over to him and he makes small talk. Of course, when he says "don't judge the book by its cover" he crosses the line, because she got him interested by confronting him.

i didn't mean "company policy" literally :) what i meant is that i think it would be out of MM universe to get fired for an ethical offense :) it will not work well for the plot, Peggy is a central "new" character, she's and Pete are definitely making it, Don, on the other hand...
