Weather

Come on, people! It's just some snow. I'm hearing anecdotes about people freaking out and making runs on the grocery stores and the like. Obviously, they were living in SoCal or possibly Hawaii until 4 years ago or something. I know I'm not the only one who was around here in 1994, when we had thirteen blizzards that winter.

We've spent the last 19 hours bailing out the basement. We are managing to keep slightly ahead of the incoming water, but the nice new basement floor that I spent 2 days putting down in December is now officially fucked. We may have to rip the entire thing up and re-do the concrete. That will depend on what the "waterproofers" say when they get ( Read more... )
