10 hours of sleep later...

Amazingly, I got something resembling books that I would not be ashamed to let anyone else see completed by 11PM last night, and I still had enough energy to watch the season finale of Atlantis. Now there's not much left on TV that I'm interested in. Even BSG is not exciting me (and that's not for a month, anyway).

New Amsterdam has not proven itself yet, but there's nothing to make me drop it from the TiVo list. I'm glad it's not Highlander: there should have ever only been one!

Now I wait and see if anyone will look at the books and ask me for changes. If I get back from taking my dad out for his 92nd (!!!) birthday and there's no email from work, I might actually be able to go to the monthly drum circle tonight. I've been promising myself to go to one of these things for 5 months now, but every month, something has come up.

I am not sure what to do about printing these books - they want them "pretty" and we don't have a reliable color printer in the office, so there was talk about taking them to Kinko's or something, but I don't know how to pay for them (I am not laying money out for this!). Of course, if we had a frickin BOSS, I'd have some advice about this. Maybe I'll call the VP at home on Sunday and ask him... (yeah, right). And they need to be done by first thing Monday morning, of course.

work, ramble, dad
