i'm writing to you simply
because i can, simply because
i wish to. speaking of
wishing, i also wish to be a
bird, to be carefree and fly
away. i also wish to own a star.
though i'll probably only see
it once, given there are so many
but to know that one star, one
amazing part of the universe,
is in my ownership, would be
wonderful. it would be mine
for the wishing, and only
mine. i know it's strange, but
wonderful to me. reader, will

oh so desperatly need? will
