Was that a sniff of Fall I noticed on the air yesterday and today? Sometimes I wonder how we can detect that sort of thing, even when there isn't really a change in the temperature just yet (as is often the case here in the Florida). I wonder if it's that we are somehow able to unconsciously perceive a slight change in the quality of the sunlight or something. Or I'm just crazy and I've been kind of jonesing for autumn. I'm not sure why that is, either -- maybe I'm just ready for a change of season. This probably sounds totally insane, but a lot of times I get "feelings" about certain times of the year that are coming up that I feel are really going to be good somehow. Two years ago I was all about December when school started, last semester it was the summer, and this semester I have a good feeling about October through November. I don't really know why, I just sort of feel like there's going to be something good there. (I hope.)
Lindsey got the Grey's Anatomy season 2 DVD set so we were watching some episodes tonight, and god damn it, sometimes that show really makes me feel goddamned lonely as fuck. Everyone's got their person on there, plus it seems like ever since school started everybody and their friend has a new boyfriend/girlfriend/significant other now. BAHHH.
But I did my hair a different way on Thursday and not kidding, everyone all day long said they liked my hair. I finally got hip and with it and parted it on the side [I've tried different things a few times, but for the most part I've parted my hair in the center for pretty much all my life]. I did the side-part thing a few times here and there over the summer after I got a new hair cut, but I'm on my second consecutive day of side-parted hair and I'm just about used to it, so maybe I'll keep it like this for a while.
Also, two fucking like 12 year old middle school boys or whatever tried to half-way hit on me or something today while I was taking a walk around the Port Orange City Center [I've started going to a chiropractor Port Orange since my back pain issue wasn't going away on its own]. They walked up to me and the one kid was like, "You know what? I totally knocked him [indicates friend] down that hill the other day, blah blah blah I thought he was dead heheh," and so I was like, "Oh my, well, I'm glad you're still alive." And then the first one goes, "Hey, so are you still in school?" and I was like, "Um, college school." Kids these days ... I just don't know.
