Where to begin?
First of all, Tauna is at 20 weeks today! I would say she's half-way, but we know that mathematically from conception that's not entirely accurate. Friday we have a sonogram, and we get to find out the baby's gender! In light of that, I've been very remiss and have not posted any of the last sonogram pics, which are awesome, because they came straight to disk without having to scan their crappy printout. So, without further ado, here is our baby at 12.5 weeks (almost 2 months ago!):

What else?
I finally met creatrixx in person, and she is even cooler than I thought she would be. indigo_eris and I met her and her friend (also cool) at this shamanic drum circle thing last Friday (also cooler than I thought it would be) in Baltimore. I didn't know I had drumming in me -- I was practically buzzing with energy by the end! We ended up (after grapping preggie treats) going back to her place and talking till the wee hours, plus I got to meet her husband, D, who looks just like his photos. I think I geeked out on showing off the Danger comic just a WEE BIT (!) much.
Saturday we practiced the Gnostic Mass, made yummy pot roast another meaty pasta thing, and then got ready to go out to Elektroshock (which is closing, alas.) We drove up to Timonium to rescue the stranded creatrixx, and drove to the club. Once there, we saw her bf G again, whom we had briefly met at the 9:30 club when we saw Apocalyptica (baby's first concert) which I have before now not mentioned. (Because I am lazy.) A good time was had by all!
Sunday, we got ready for Mass, and I re-taught myself how to make Cakes of Light. (Pre-frozen batter = yay!) A hex-star drill bit added decorative goodness. The Mass itself was awesome. I think it was the best we've done. Tauna was radiant. I was very inspired. I really managed to step outside of myself and channel the Priest energy. My lines came out with intonations and inflections that worked much better than when I was practicing. The energy was just awesome.
Turnout could have been better though. I forgot how much I enjoyed performing the Mass....it's been like a year and a half I think...
Yesterday evening we went to visit our friend (the artist formerly known as eliphas93), who just had part of his left temporal lobe removed courtesy of the Johns Hopkins Neurosurgery Department. Besides some slight difficulty with memory recall, and being loopy from being doped up on Percocet and having a wicked cyperpunk scar, he was the same old Curt. I was glad we could see him.
My car needs a new rim. The back rear rim, besides being beat up, is apparently so rusty that it won't hold air. I think I actually drove on it flat or near flat without knowing Saturday. Now it loses about 20 lbs of pressure every 10 hours. The tire is probably damaged by now. I can't AFFORD this right now!
Robert (n4cht) came clean about all of his lies to Tauna over the last several months. She. is. not. happy. And is proven once again to have incredible relationship intuition. Do not cross her. She reads minds. (Plus, she can kill you with her brain.)
