A year passes and Azula is walking the Earth Kingdom. She watches with rapt attention as Earthbenders rebuild their country and later mimics the moves perfectly, beautifully. She then adapts them to suit her.
The world believes that the Avatar is alive and well, secluded away in his abandoned temple to write his peoples' techniques and history for the next Avatar to come. Cautiously, Azula believes it too.
He has already mastered all four elements while she has only begun to master the second and she will only have the chance to master three. By the time she is ready to face him he will have six years experience on her and an element, but she is the more ruthless warrior and the better tactician.
