life: FINALLY!!!

I lost:
oh, and the $200.00 for Best Buy diagnostics and repair services that it ended up I didn't really have to use if I'd just known what that blank black screen with the little cursor-blip meant. Next time, they can go piss up a rope and I'll upload the software myself. Two-hundred bucks for hardly fifteen minutes work? I want their gig.
So all in all, not much lost. Aside from credit-card-cash. Annnd a week of sanity. Really it's a good thing because it saved me having to sort thru stuff and find out what i would have had to have dumped anyway. compy two years old and was getting cluttered. 0=c> I wish I'd known i misplaced my Photoshop disks before the crash tho. omg. And reinstalling allll this software is gonna be annoyingly sloooow.
so yeah. I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!
I lost:
- three novel starts/ideas.
- a 20k-ish word fic that thankfully most of it is to be found elsewhere.
- alllllllllll of my sims2 & 3 charas. (this hurts more than the novel/fic work.)
- all of my research on legal marijuana grows in Butte county.
- alllllllll of my bookmarks because they were only in mozilla.
- my favorite writing software along with allllll the original content it contained. (not making that mistake again.)
- a few records I'd set down to mp3s.
- a buncha vid material, so i'll have to re download if i ever want to do anything with them.
- and because I'm a moron, I actually lost my system restore disks and had to reorder new ones for $30.00.
- annnd because I'm a REALLY big moron, I lost my photoshop software in the same moving chaos that cost me my restore disks. i still have the option to upgrade next time i get a spare 200 bucks, tho...
