guess what!!! okay, so i submitted an online job app to this place on the coast. and after three months of NO ONE getting back to me in response to even fill in the blank job apps, these guys actually DID!!!! not only did they EMAIL me, but they got back to me via phone too!! none of the places in chico do that. and i have an in person interview this friday at 3:30. ::wince:: which means a 4 hour drive thursday morning. doh. but! i'll be staying the night and looking around town the next day, just to get a better feel for the area, see if i actually do want to live there. it's been a year since i saw the place, things change in that time. and this is technically a different area than where i was looking around last year. wait. no. =cO it was two years ago! woah. weird. anyhow. so yeah. YEA!!! i at least, if nothing else, get an excuse to go to the coast tomorrow. a mini vacation!! WHEE!!!
